Egan Chutes Provincial Park, Four Waterfalls in an 8km stretch

This spectacular wilderness site near Bancroft Ontario has a little bit of everything! History and geology showcase an over 8km hike in the Rugged, Serene and quiet wildness featuring: Four Waterfalls, Gorges, Rim Trails, Beaver Dams, Ponds, Rock Glacial and Wildlife!

Named after one of the granddaddy lumber barons working in this area John Egan who is also remembered in Egan Creek and Eganville.

If you want a 10 minute walk to the main Chute (First Falls) park on the west side of the River. If you want to take the 8km journey to all Four Falls (a fourth secret one was discovered) park on the right side of the river. This is a walk I highly recommend in the rugged wilderness that has, elevation, deep forest, and that serene feeling that you are somewhere special.
